“I’ve often thought there is something truly mystical about trees. Their longevity of life, the way in which they almost ‘reach’ for the sky and beyond. Their ability to cleanse the planet but most importantly, their simple yet exquisite beauty remains a constant draw. I simply adore walking through woodland and sniffing the mossy air. Or my most simple pleasure is watching the lovely ash tree viewed outside our lounge window, grow, change colour, shed leaves to reveal the skeletal structure beneath the foliage in the Winter, to then repeat the cycle and grow the bright zesty lime coloured leaves in early Spring.”
